The Marshfield Council on Aging Boosters is excited to once again host a Craft Fair and Bake Sale on November 4, 2023, from 10-3. The fair will be held at the Senior Center, 230 Webster Street, Marshfield. 70 artisans with hand-crafted items are participating and our Marshfield Boosters and Friends are preparing home-baked goods for purchase along with soda, water, and snack items. Chowder and chili will also be available for purchase. Last year’s fair was well-attended by approximately 600 people visiting the artisan’s tables and the chowder, chili, and baked goods were completely sold out!
Many of our favorite crafters from last year are returning this year along with some exciting crafters who are joining us for the first time. Returning crafters will display such items as wooden puzzles, wooden knives and boards, lamps and items made out of musical instruments, Christmas ornaments including beautifully decorated ice skates, and handmade beach art using shells and sea glass. Among the new items this year, are honey and homemade bee products, gnomes, doll clothes, gourd birdhouses, decorative rock and tea lights, fine arts, and fleece hats and scarves. And, so much more! A Marshfield-based coffee grinder will be offering samples along with bags of coffee for purchase and the fairy hair lady will be in attendance to glamorize your locks.
Raffle items include an item from each participating crafter and a special raffle for an American Girl doll with her own hand-crafted horse and carriage.
A donation of $2.00 is requested for admission to cover setup costs and parking is free. Proceeds from the fair go to support the programs, resources, and activities of the Senior Center.
